Leveling in WoW doesn't have to be all about quests. Since there are a lot of players out there who prefer to stay away from quests, I decided to share some WoW leveling tips that do not use quests as the main leveling method.
As you probably already know, most leveling guides use a quest path to get players to the level cap. This is a very fast way to level especially if you are a good player. But not everyone likes talking to NPCs, running around the map killing mobs, opening chests and picking up all sorts of stuff. But thankfully, the game offers alternatives to level up. So here are some WoW leveling tips to help you advance in the game without quests.
- Using the Dungeon Finder is a great way to earn experience. When you use it, you will see that you will be rewarded with experience when you finish it. The experience you get is a lot more than what you would get from a normal quest. Plus there are also quests inside the instances that give good experience and also what you get from killing mobs. The only problem with this is that you will have to wait a little to get a group. If you can tank or heal, make sure you set yourself in the queue with that role and you will find groups faster.
- When you get bored with instances, you can also go in Battlegrounds. Winning or losing a Battleground will also grant you experience, in addition to Honor Points. If you join a "Call To Arms" Battleground, you will receive even more. They tend to take a while to finish and you don't always win, but you won't have to wait in the queue for very long.
- While you wait to join either of those, you should level your Gathering professions and Archeology as those give you experience also. So you should gain good amounts even when not in an instance or in a Battleground.
If you are in a real hurry to level up, you will need to do something extra while you wait. You will most certainly need to do some quests too when you get to the higher levels, else you will take way too long to advance in levels. But as far as the 1-60 level range goes, these WoW leveling tips are pretty much everything you need.
Make sure you get some Heirloom items on you and join a leveling guild and you should be alright. These will help you increase the amount of experience you get from killing mobs and also completing quests. Plus you won't need to look for items until level 70. I hope you will find these WoW leveling tips as useful as they were for me.
When you get to the point where these WoW Leveling Tips are not as efficient anymore, you will need a guide.
It will help you level up fast, but you will have to do it through quests.
