WoW Death Knight Guide - Warcraft's Death Dealing Class

When Blizzard rolled out the WoTLK extension to World of Warcraft back in November 2008, a new character class was introduced known as the Death Knight. This class is unique in the fact that they are the only hero class in World of Warcraft. To be honest the fact that they were categorized under a unique class doesn't make them much more different from other similar classes.

There's also another twist to the Death Knight and that is that the character can't be unlocked until a player reaches level 55. Only then can they assume the identity of the Death Knight. When this class was introduced to WoW his purpose was that of a loyal servant to the Lich King.

Once the identity of the Death Knight class has been taken, each player begins the game with green gear, 4X12 slot bags and twenty silver in Archerus. Talent points for your build can also be easily gained around Ebon Hold when you first play the game as the Death Knight class. It's also very possible to easily acquire blue gear for your character to boost stats fast.

Of all the classes in WoW the Warlock is my favorite, but the Death Knight comes a close second and what I can tell you is the quest chain for the Death Knight is a lot of fun and will certainly keep the player entertained. For a good leveling leveling strategy, I would say that the Outlands are a great zone to focus your efforts and complete available quests.

They're primarily a Melee class and possess the ability to equip there selves with most available Melee weapons found in the game. On top of this they have the ability to equip 2x1 handed weapons or 1x2 handed weapons making them extremely useful in PvP scenarios and as a tank. Not to mention the fact that they can deal out some serious damage in an instant!

The Death Knight class are also well armored with the ability to equip there selves with plate armor, the strongest armor in WoW. Although they are unable to equip a shield, but there strong armor which improves the parry chance and improve there stance in battle.

Death Knights have one more unique ability to other classes and that's that they draw there powers from Runic Power as opposed to Energy or Mana.

Some of the advantages of this class are that they start at level 55, and are very easy to gain momentum and start leveling up fast from level 55+. They can also continue to fight over long periods of time. They are also a great class for PvP, Tanking and Damage Dealing scenarios. Also they're equipped with a pet, they are the Ghoul and Gargoyle pet and they're pretty cool pets to have.

One of the major disadvantages of the this class is that lots of people have opted for this class making it harder to get accepted in group quests as the demand isn't there.

Choices You Have to Make When Repairing the Red Ring of Death

The Red Ring of Death Choices

If you have contracted the Red Ring of Death on your Xbox 360, first of all I would like to say that I'm sorry that you have to go through this. Before I knew the techniques that I'm about to tell you, I have wasted countless Xbox's in hopes of finally curing the Red Ring of Death. I'm here today to help you not go through what I did, so that you will be more educated than I was, so that you don't make the same mistakes that I did.

Is It The Real Thing?

The first thing that you want to do is make sure that your Xbox really does have the Red Ring of Death. Check all of your cables that hook up your Xbox and make sure that they are snug and not hanging off your Xbox by a thread. After checking, make sure that you have a steady power supply. Unplug your power brick and make sure that everything is fitting into their respective places and that you don't have anything reversed. Once that is done, plug your power brick back into the outlet and see if it works. If it fixes your red ring of death, than stop reading this dang article and go play some halo! If, unfortunately, it still doesn't work try plugging all of your cables into another socket in your house. Sometimes when the power goes out in your house or when something goes wrong in the electrical department, it can temporarily give your Xbox the red ring of death.

If you have tried all of these steps, and restarted your Xbox and it still gives you the lights, it's time for some repair.

Why Red Ring of Death, Why!

When you have finally decided that it is indeed the red ring of death, you have a choice to make. You can either send it in to Microsoft or you can take the chance and repair it yourself or at your local repair store if you have one near you. There are pros and cons to each of these choices which I will explain in detail below. Please consider both choices and pick the one that is most suitable to you and your situation.

Choice #1: The first choice is to send it to Microsoft. This is a very smart choice under certain circumstances. If your Xbox still has a warranty, than this should be the choice that you make, no questions asked. Microsoft will repair your Xbox for free and send it back to you. Now at first this seems like a great idea, but going the easy way does have some consequences. If you send your Xbox in to Microsoft for repair, and you have a warranty, it can take six to eight weeks just to get your Xbox back! I have experienced that and let me tell you, it's not fun at all. Although it is free, waiting for that length of time sucks! So if you're willing to wait that long just to make sure that you get your repair for free, then so be it.

If you don't have a warranty, than please, for the love of it all, don't send it to Microsoft! They will charge you a heavy sum of shipping and handling and a hefty charge of over one hundred dollars just to fix it. There is a better way for people to fix the red ring of death without warranties, which I will expand upon below.

Choice #2: The second choice is to just forget about all of the corporate and business trouble, and just repair it yourself. Believe it or not, this is a very easy thing to do! When you actually look into it, you will be very surprised at the easiness and the quickness of the repairs that Microsoft charges over one hundred dollars for. Repairs done by the average person with no technical or electronic experience can and will take only about an hour, and are very cheap compared to the price that Microsoft advertises. These repairs can be done with mostly household tools, and a very meager amount of money. If you are one of those people who does not have a warranty, or you are someone who doesn't like waiting eight weeks for Microsoft's repair, this is the smart choice to go with. If you are interested in the self repair process, I have placed a link in the resource box to a website that will teach you all you need to know about self repair, and will have you beating the red ring of death in no time!

If you are taking the self repair route, here is the website that will help you and guide you on your journey to fixing your Xbox and ridding yourself of the red ring of death. So click the link below and get started.

Yellow Light of Death Fix: Ready Anytime, Anywhere

Hardcore gamers know how devastating it feels to encounter hardware problems with their PS3. It is like having your favorite pet die, knowing it will never come back. It is like losing an important document like your passport or a birth certificate. But good thing about PS3 equipment is that Yellow Light of Death problems can easily be addressed. Yellow light of Death fix can be obtained easily if you come to the right place and if you know the right person. To maximize the gaming experience with your PS3, problems on Yellow Light of Death should be solved with the help of a skilled repairman. A Playstation console is considered intricate equipment that contains great many parts which the untrained eye may not be able to handle effectively.

Yellow Light of Death may cause devastating problems for gamers, and most of the time console owners cannot help but feel helpless when struck with this problem. Out of desperation, some just junk out their malfunctioning console and just opt to buy a new one in order to get back to the game, but this is of course seriously impractical. A yellow light of death fix need not be expensive or costly. First, kindly check if the cords are placed in their sockets. If it is, check the power supply. Another thing is to check if the console is still covered by the company's warranty. Look online for the nearest service center that caters to the equipment's need. Compare also the service rates and decide which center you wish to entrust your console to. Find a reasonable rate and remember to keep it professional.

If you are not sure what caused the Yellow Light of Death to light up, do not panic. More importantly, do not undertake the task of performing a repair without proper and professional knowledge of the equipment. This may void the warranty (if it is still in effect) and may endanger you, should the equipment cause shock due to faulty electrical problems. Know first the company's profile and check with the people you know about the quality of service that they provided. Once you have settled on where you wish to have your console repaired, meet the technician and talk to him about what happened before the Yellow Light of Death lit up. A yellow light of death fix cannot be made if the technician does not have a background on the console's history. Remember to be honest as this will hasten up the process of a yellow light of death fix. If the technician knows what he is looking for, he can fix it faster. Agree on a reasonable service fee and do not be shy to ask for a discount; just remember to be gracious when he has done his job well too.

After having the PS3 yellow light of death fixed, remember to take care of the equipment. Check for overheating and make sure that adequate power supply reaches the console. Do not allow dust to build up on the console as this may affect the Blu-ray drive's ability to playback the disc. Place the console in a secure, well ventilated area. If possible, place a cooling fan near the console to prevent overheating. This will prevent the thermal paste to heat up to much and thereby cause the dreaded Yellow Light of Death. In the meantime, enjoy the endless possibilities with your PS3. You can challenge your friend on the latest first person shooting or your brother to a racing match. Whatever game you may choose, remember that Yellow Light of Death does not spell an end to your PS3 experience, if you know where to go and what to look for.

Yellow Light of Death Fix
It is always a better option to get your PS3 repaired quickly and as soon as it gets faulty so that you do not risk it further getting any problems. A PS3 console is very precious for many people and hence it should be taken care of.

Death Knight Leveling Guide - Use The Best Death Knight Leveling Spec

The Death Knight is a very interesting class in World of Warcraft. It draws upon the powers of disease, blood and ice to defeat their enemies. This is a hybrid class that deals magic damage as well as melee. So in this little Death Knight leveling guide, I will share with you something to help you level up faster. Even though you begin from the level 55 with this class, the right Death Knight leveling spec is still needed.

The talent trees you have available are Blood, Frost and Unholy. Some say that Frost is better to level with while some say that Blood is. The Unholy line is used for PvP, everyone can agree on that one. The truth is that while Frost is the main DPS build for the DK, it doesn't really help you survive more in battles. It lacks the consistency you need when leveling up. So the leveling spec I will share with you is for the Blood line.

Put your points in the Blood talent tree as you level up. Make sure you ignore the Butchery, Improved Blood Tap, Blood-Caked Blade, Hand of Doom and Crimson Scourge abilities. These haven't proved to be very useful as you level up. The rest of your points should go to the Frost talent tree getting the Runic Power Mastery 3/3, Icy Reach 2/2 and Lichborne Abilities. The Lichborne ability is useful not only for the crowd control immunity but also for the fact that you will be able to heal yourself with Death Coil while in that form. The remaining 3 points should go to Epidemic in the Unholy line.

The Blood Death Knight leveling spec is mostly used for tanking. Since you will start the game at a higher level, you will need to be able to kill more mobs than one at the same time and also not get too much damage from it. You will have a lot of AoE attacks that will make sure you defeat your opponents really fast.

Another great thing to this spec is the fact that you will find groups for instances really fast, since you are a tank. Holding aggro is also very easy as you have many abilities that hit a lot of mobs. Also, a good Death Knight leveling guide would recommend using Frost until you reach level 80. I say that you don't need to do that.

By going Frost you will have more damage, but it will be mostly single target, plus you won't have as many defenses as a Blood DK. If you use the Death Knight leveling spec you saw here, I am certain that the journey to the level cap will be a very short and pleasant one.

Don't use the bad builds to level up, you will take too long. Try this Death Knight Leveling Spec.

It works best with the right Death Knight Leveling Guide.

Death Knight Guide - Best Death Knight Spec for DPS

An excellent Death Knight spec for DPS is a Frost spec, focused on dual-wielding. This way the Death Knight gains a lot of melee haste, and quite a bit of frost damage boost. However, choosing even one of the wrong talents in the Frost tree may cause your DK to lose some of its damage effectiveness. So, here's a short Death Knight guide in which I'm going to tell your which abilities should be left out from the Frost tree and which talents should be trained from the Unholy tree.

Talents to Leave Out from your Frost Tree

On a Pale Horse. This talent only grants you movement speed, which you don't really need in a raid or in a 5-man group. So, this talent should not be in your DK spec for DPS.

Endless Winter. This is a talent that boosts your Mind Freeze by reducing its Runic Power cost, clearly a talent for PvP.

Might of the Frozen Wastes. You should train this talent if you're going to use a 2-handed weapon as a Frost DK. However, in that case, you should not train Threat of Thassarian, the equivalent talent for dual-wielding.

Talents to Train from the Unholy Tree

The second part of this short Death Kight guide regards the extra talent points, for the Unholy tree. By leaving out the talents that I mentioned above, you'll have 6 extra remaining points to train in your Unholy spec. You should use these to cap the following talents:

Virulence - to increase your disease damage by 30%.

Epidemic - to increase the duration of your diseases on your targets for 12 seconds.

You can train Bladed Armor from the Blood tree, instead of Epidemic. This talent grants you 6 attack power for every 180 armor points that you have. That will grant you a fair damage boost. For example, with DPS gear, my DK has 22,000 armor. If I train that talent, I will get about 733 extra attack power, which is not bad. However, if you train this talent, instead of Epidemic, without those 12 seconds in the duration of your diseases, you might struggle with your DPS rotation.

To close this short Death Knight guide, I have one more thing to say. You can gain one talent point if you leave out Lichborne. Although most Death Knights keep this ability, because it's not bad to have an extra cooldown, you won't really need it for DPS. That extra talent point can be trained in Epidemic, and 3 points trained in Bladed Armor. The 1 talent point trained in Epidemic will increase your disease duration by 4 seconds, just enough to balance your rotation.

I hope this post is helpful to you. If you're looking for more information regarding Death Knight specs, click here: Death Knight Spec.

Also, if you really want to learn how to play your Death Knight at maximum, squeezing every bit of effectiveness from this class, on any spec, in PvP or PvE, here's a complete Death Knight Guide.
