How to Improve Your Score in Words With Friends

Do you want to know how you can improve your score with Words with Friends game? In a tactical point of view, there are lots of ways on how you can play this game effectively. There are players who use aggressive approach in this game so they can easily eliminate the tiles.

But bear in mind that there are around 90 tiles shared by players so the more tiles you use, the lesser tiles available for your opponent. This strategy is very risky considering that branching out lots of longer words will give your opponent a chance to put their tile on a bonus square. Another common approach used by players is the conservative method of playing.

It is also similar with defensive playing. In a conservative approach, you will form short and long words. The words that you will be forming depend on some factors but the most important is to target proximity in premium squares. If you can create longer words to get through the premium square then do it, or else just focus on creating shorter words.

Just make sure that any words you create must not extend that far, to prevent your challenger to branch out from your words to get through a bonus square. Better to target shorter words particularly those that can be created in parallel forms so you can force your opponent to branch out and you can send them away to any bonus square.

Keep in mind that bonus squares are of different value so you have to make use of your reasoning ability on which square you need to branch out. It also depends if you are prepared to take more risk. The best way to minimize your risk is to use consonants particularly if you are creating long words.

For example, avoid using vowels next to a bonus square like TL and DL. When you place a vowel next to this square you give an opportunity for your opponent to score. Power tiles like X obviously come before or after a vowel in most words. So remember to create words having consonants next to a premium square so you can minimize the risks.

Keep in mind that you need to maintain a balance between consonants and vowels. You need to manage your rack properly so you will not have difficulty in forming words. Sometimes, you can also use the Words with Friends Help which is an online tool to give you a hint on various lists of words that you can create to score higher. Indeed, this game is a fun way to explore the plethora of words.

5 Tips To Improve Your Magic Gameplay

Here Are 5 tips to improve your Magic gameplay

1. Constantly check your own and your opponent's graveyard to know what cards have been used. A simple move that goes a long way in your games, constantly checking the graveyards allow you to remind yourself what spell has your opponent played and how many copies of a card is left in your deck. If your opponent has exhausted all 4 copies of his Day of Judgment, you have no more worries of pouring all your creatures to the battlefield!

2. Take lots of notes! Whenever your opponent searches his library for a card, or after you've Duress them, take note of the cards in your opponent's hand. Knowing what cards your opponent has in hand allows you to plan out your moves careful to avoid falling behind tempo and cards. If your opponent has revealed a Consume the Meek via your Goblin Guide, take note of it so you won't over commit and walk straight into it!

3. Take your time to consider your options and outs before rushing into a decision, it's too late to pull back once you've made the wrong play. Think carefully and consider your options before making a play too quickly. You might be excited when you pull a Lightning Bolt of the top when your opponent is at 3 life, but don't be too hasty and slam it down when your opponent has tons of open mana! You might walk into a counter magic or damage prevention that then cause you the game. Consider your options, and then play accordingly.

4. Prepare notes for yourself to read during sideboard time to remind yourself your game plan against a specific deck. With the new M11 rules, it is now legal to bring notes and refer to them between rounds and games in a tournament. Write up notes regarding your game plan and sideboard against different decks, and then refer to them during sideboard time to reaffirm your plan.

5. Learn to mulligan aggressively if your deck relies on specific cards to work. A lot of hands seems playable and decent, but if your deck needs a specific card to operate or a specific hate card that single handedly win you games against your opponent's deck, throw them away till you find the card. If you're opponent is playing a deck base relying on graveyard, you can afford to mulligan down to 5 to find that sideboard Leyline of the Void and still win the game.

How To Improve In Magic: The Gathering

Besides just reading articles all the time, you should also always keep yourself updated with the available cards in the format through visual spoilers or browsing through discussion forum constantly. When a new format is about to be released, go through the whole spoiler card by card to know every available card in the format, even you did or did not attend the prerelease. Doing so would help you prepare your games and decks against cards in the format, as you know now which card could single handedly destroy your deck or vice versa against another deck.

An example here would be the all-star dredge deck that was amazingly powerful and popular a year back in extended. It was so powerful that every deck prepares multiple sideboard slots against it, but is the deck prepared for these sideboard cards? As the deck revolved around its graveyard, it has to take into consideration all cards that could single handedly destroy it, and how to go against them. You will need to pack permanent removals for Leyline of the Void, Tormod's Crypt or Yixlid Jailer. Is that enough? Do you win when your opponent is tapped out? No because there's lots of Ravenous Traps running around! What if you don't have 3 cards going into your graveyard this turn?

There's still Faerie Macabre to consider! However, when a deck board in such cards which does not interact with itself, it makes the deck weaker against different source of threats. Several pros attempt to attack this angle through a transformation sideboard of heavy creatures and equipment. Doing so would in return caught the opponent who might (or might not) boarded in a million anti graveyard cards, and thus stealing back the sideboard games. This is a basic example of understanding the cards available in the format against you, and vice versa against others, could help you win or lose a game.

Battlefield 3 Strategies - Tips And Tricks To Improve Your Game

Battlefield 3 is one of the most complex first person shooter games to ever hit the market. You can no longer just run around head long into battle and expect to do well, you will have to play your character properly as well as learn to work as part of a team.

One of the most important features of the game is that you must play your class properly. You cannot expect to be a medic and run around racking up kills by yourself, you will have to help heal your teammates and learn to work together in order to accomplish the goals of the map. Battlefield 3 has set the standard in first person shooter games, and with it comes the requirement to actually play your class properly, or you and your teammates will die quickly. So for example. if you are an engineer, be sure you are repairing tanks and shooting enemy planes and helicopters out of the sky.

Another important aspect is the controls of the game. Some people prefer an inverted airplane style play so that when you pull down on the control stick, the view looks up, or if you push up on the control stick, the player view looks down. Be sure you try out both methods to see what best suits your style of game play. You may be surprised at your findings.

An excellent way for you to get some extra kills is to change up your game play style. For example, I found that when you come face to face with another player, instead of moving back and forth from side to side trying to avoid their gun fire, immediately drop into the prone position and aim for the head. This type of tactic works very well because most people are not used to facing an enemy who does this and gives you that extra bit of time to get your head shot in while they are confused. Ultimately this second of time will be a huge advantage for you. Try it and see for yourself.

What I would consider the most important Battlefield 3 strategy would be to get yourself a good strategy and tips guide. This will greatly improve your game as well as your experience. There are many types of guides out there, I personally prefer a guide that offers HD videos so that you can see exactly what tip or techniques is being described. There is no better way to learn than to watch someone else do exactly what they are describing on video for you to watch and imitate.

BF3 Tips - 3 Important Battlefield 3 Tips To Improve Your Game

If you are like many of the other people that have just started playing Battlefield 3 online, you are probably getting somewhat frustrated sometimes because you just can't seem to rack up many kills or keep getting killed yourself. Well there is good news and bad news for you. The bad news is that you are not very good at the game, which you probably already know. The good news is that you can dramatically increase your skill level by using some of the latest tips and secrets that have been figured out by the pros and passed down to beginners such as yourself. Here are three of my best tips for learning and winning Battlefield 3 matches.

Tip #1 - Teamwork is very important:

Battlefield 3 is unlike any other first person shooter game out there. You can't just run out there and "pray and spray" the enemies hoping to get some kill points and rise up through the ranks. You really must focus on teamwork with this game as it is one of if not the most important factor in the game. You have to be able to play the class you have selected, you can't be a medic and just run around not helping to heal people, this is a crucial role and you must play it exactly as if you were in a real war. The same goes for all of the other classes. Whichever class you decide to be will change your in game experience to a larger degree than most other first person shooter games on the market.

Tip #2 - Learn the classes:

I usually recommend beginners stick with the assault / medic class mainly because this class is well rounded and easier to understand. Some of the more difficult classes to play are the recon and engineer classes. These classes take much more experience to use and understand. If you are not familiar with the maps and levels, you will not get much use from these classes. So as a beginner, pick the assault class so that you can get used to the game play and learn the maps. This will allow you to rack up some kills and you will enjoy the game a lot more.

Tip #3 - Get a decent BF3 strategy guide:

I cannot say this enough. By getting yourself a good strategy guide, you will learn all of the tactics and techniques the pros use to dominate. You can quite easily become this good by knowing the proper strategies and class / weapon builds that the pros use to wipe out everyone in their path. A decent guide should contain a guide to all of the classes and how to properly build your class to be as powerful and effective as possible. It should also contain map strategies for each individual map and level in the game showing you exactly where the best places are to set up. Another thing you should look for is a guide that will show you the best strategies for dominating your enemy as well as how to become a leader. When you become a leader, your teammates depend on you to tell them where to go and what to expect, so a guide that teaches you leadership skills is a must for any serious Battlefield 3 player.

MW3 Tips - 3 Important Tips To Improve Your Game In Modern Warfare 3

Modern Warfare 3 has forever changed the first person shooter world. With it's fast paced game play as well as the tactical and teamwork requirements, this game is the first true first person shooter game that relies on a combination of teamwork and skillful strategies in order to succeed. Having played the game for a while now and learning many secrets and tips the pros use to dominate MW3, I feel it's time to let you in on some of the secret tips that have helped me become one of the top ranked MW3 players. I consistently place in the top three for kill/death ratio scores not because I am some super elite pro gamer, but because I was shown the proper way to play the game by some of those elite gamers.

Tip #1 - Build your class and weapons properly:

That's right, if you learn the proper methods for your class and chosen weapons, you will have a huge advantage over 90% of the people out there. This will greatly increase your survivability and keep you alive longer so you can rack up more kills. When you are stronger, and faster than most of the other players in the game, it's obvious that you will also have more kills. However there is a bit more to this game besides just being faster and stronger. You need to be able to think quickly on your feet and that is where my next tip comes in.

Tip #2 - Be unpredictable:

If you can predict what the other player is going to do, you have a good chance that you will kill them before they kill you. Most players do similar things when going head to head in combat such as moving from side to side while firing their weapon, this is a surefire way to get killed quickly. These tactics may have worked in earlier first person shooter games, but it will not work out so well for you in Modern Warfare 3. An interesting move that I find works really well is this. When you come face to face with an enemy player, while they do the typical side to side movement, you should immediately drop down into the prone position and kill them. They are so busy running back and forth aiming at your head that when you go prone it throws them off for a second or two giving you plenty of time to cut them down. This is just one basic example on how to be unpredictable.

Tip #3 - Get a decent strategy and tactics guide:

I have to confess, the last tip I gave you is not something I figured out, it is actually a tip I picked up out of an awesome strategy guide that showed me all kinds of simple little tactics like that. These types of unpredictable tactics work amazingly well in MW3 and there are some really great strategy guides out there that will show you everything that I use to consistently come out at the top of the scoreboard after every round. A lot of these guides will not only show you great tactical moves, but they also show you common enemy movements on the map so you know where most people travel allowing you to setup and get tons of kills that way as well. You also usually get some really nice HD videos demonstrating all of the techniques that they describe in the guide allowing you to see exactly how to perform the maneuvers tactics such as the one that I mentioned earlier. To be honest this is the true secret to my success and there is no way I would have become a pro like player without the help of some of the awesome MW3 tips and strategy guides out there.
