Diablo III Monk Class

Diablo III the long awaited 3rd installment is approaching 1 month since the release date of May 15, 2012. I've done Diablo III book and character reviews and I'm going to continue with my review of the monk class.

Diablo III has five classes each with their own advantages and disadvantages, what I really like is how they have created a lot of balance between all the classes and really giving you an even playing field. The five classes are barbarian, monk, wizard, demon hunter, and witch doctor. Here is my review of the monk class which I hope will help you decide if it's the class for you.

Monk Class

- A melee based fighter the Monk specializes in hand to hand combat, and is one of two melee type classes. Monk has a very good area of effect which is great for weak dungeon creatures.

- The monk has weapons unique to its class, fist weapons, and Daibos. Fist weapons allow monks to equip their hand to hand styles with knife blades, knuckle spikes, and toughening hand wraps. Daibos are the monks best weapon because of the unique active and passive abilities that are more efficient.

- The monk only has head armour which is unique to this class called spirit stones which grants class specific bonuses.

- The monk has more than 20 abilities to use with each one being slightly different and if you combine that with any one of 5 runes, you give yourself a wide arsenal of skills at your disposal.

-Because you spend so much time fighting larger groups of enemies its best to select abilities with area of effect spells like crippling wave and lashing tail kick. Then you can rune them with mangle and scorpion sting respectively.

- The monk is the opposite of the barbarian when it comes to abilities and buffs. the barbarians strength is damage attacks were the monks strengths are healing and buffs. The monks defensive abilities are better for party play.

- Between the two attacking classes barbarian and monk, there's a definite edge in attacking with the barbarian, and a definite edge in healing and survival with the monk. That's not to say that the monk is a weak attacker because that would not be true just compared to the barbarian the monk is the weaker attacker.

Review

Depending how you plan on playing in Diablo III the monk is a good attacking class and is extremely valuable in party play because of the defensive buffs and heals you will offer your party. I prefer being able to heal effectively over huge damage which is why I like the monk class and why I think for the experienced player the monk is better than the barbarian. Also the area of effect spells are better than the barbarian which has next to none, and the couple the barbarian class has are trash.

The monk is a fun class to use and has many possible scenarios for the skillful player to create new techniques and builds that will give you an overall amazing experience. Thanks for reading my Diablo III monk class review.

Diablo III (Gamestop,Strategies, and Tips)

Diablo III Gamestop

Diablo III is finally out, if you haven't picked up your copy gamestop has it for $59.99 and you can try it out before you buy it. The game picks up where Diablo II left off with the same basic gameplay, with improved gear and new classes, I guarantee you will love the third installment.

Strategies and Tips

Diablo III is a fast paced game that demands the right balance of skill, experience and intelligence. I have listed some amazing Diablo III strategy that will guarantee success, increase levels fast, and help you become one of the best in very little time:

- Runes are an absolute gem in Diablo III, mostly for normal and nightmare mode players. The truth is this is the best way to increase your weapon damage from levels 1 up to about level 35.

- Add the runes to your weapon's "socket" they do not have a level requirement and are extremely cheap compared to the amount of damage added and the increase in weapon damage is higher than normal, almost double for some weapons. Make sure to get flawless runes they will add to your damage by 10 - 20 the most you will spend is 1000 gold (the auction might be cheaper).

- Try to find some good cheap weapons, preferably weapons under 5000 gold which you will use for acts 3 and 4 normal mode and nightmare mode act 1.

- Best place to get weapons is at the auction house and since sockets are the greatest for leveling up from level 1 - 27. You do not have to spend much on weapons.

- Make sure you select 1 handed weapons (auction house menu) because rubies do the most damage for faster weapons. Enter your level range, under attributes, check select either primary or vitality and set the min to 30. Sort by the lowest bid, select a decent DPS weapon with a socket and either your primary stat or vitality.

- Do not spend more than 5000 gold on any weapon because you will out level this weapon and gold is a resource you want to make sure you have lots of in your inventory gold is crucial.

- It's easy to find low and mid level weapons which have great stats and an open socket. Players will sell them cheap but if you don't act fast they will be gone very quick and I'd rather be out killing dungeon creatures then looking for weapons.

- The auction house is a great way to make gold simply by buying items form players that priced lower than they should and selling them higher. This is extremely boring and you need a bit of gold to get started.

- I recommend auctioning on Friday and Saturday nights when there is millions of people online which will give you the greatest opportunities to buy low and sell high. try to find items which are 50% lower than the normal price.

- It's extremely valuable being a guild member some of the fastest ways to level up is to use higher level guild members to protect you in dungeons where u are to low of a level to effectively act by yourself. There are some walk through guides available if you'd like to know the techniques.

I have just provided you with some excellent tips on Diablo III, they will help you get along the right path and become an amazing player. You don't become the best by chance, follow other great players Diablo III Strategy and use them as your own.

Diablo III Best Class

Finally it's here Diablo III, after 12 years since Diablo II came out we finally have the next installment in the Diablo franchise. I'm going to talk about the classes in Diablo III and hopefully help you discover the Diablo III best class that you would like to use for your long quest to level 60.

Classes

Diablo III has 5 classes they are Barbarian,Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor, and Wizard. Diablo III only has the one returning character from Diablo II and that is the Barbarian. I'm going to give you a brief overview of the Diablo III classes which will help you decide which class is best for you.

Barbarian

- The barbarian is primarily a tanking class which will take lots of damage but more importantly will give high attacking type damage, has strong self buffs and strong self-healing abilities.

- You have 3 attack options 1 handed weapon plus shield, two-handed weapons, and dual wield. Weapon and shield gives you the added defense of the shield and not much of a damage difference than dual wield. Two-handed has powerful attacks with slower rate of attack and slower fury regeneration and dual wield gives you plus 15% attack speed bonus.

- Barbarian has nearly 40 skills to choose from with some of the best being rend, revenge, whirlwind, earthquake, and cleave. Cleave is a unique ability, which no other class has abilities like. It does very solid damage costs no fury and generates fury for your stronger abilities. You can also add runes to your skills to make them much stronger.

- Barbarian does have a couple of good buffs and the self-healing is good when you have it with a rune (10% of your max health when using a rune) but only has one party healing and that is war cry which adds 50% to party life and regenerates at 470 per second.

- The barbarian does not have much in the way of ranged abilities which is the barbarians main weakness. Barbarian does have ancient spear but because of the 10 second cool down makes it not worth equipping. Seismic slam has decent range but it has a fury requirement which means u can only use it a few times. Weapon throw cost fury to use and weapon throw is weak anyways.

- One of the barbarians main strengths is abilities to stun its opponents. Ground stomp stun's its opponents for 4 seconds with a 12 second cool down, while rune leap can stun an opponent for 3 seconds with only a 10 second cool down.

Conclusion

The barbarian is the only surviving character from Diablo II and is the primary tanking class. The barbarian has great abilities and great self buffs and has no problem mowing down hoards of dungeon creatures. If you like to hack and slash this is defiantly the character for you to use. With limited ranged abilities this charter is great in player vs. environment but not so much for player vs. player, where mobility is a huge issue. I hope you enjoyed my review on the Diablo III best class.

Diablo III Strategy

Diablo III is one of the best online games that you can play for many hours. While you are playing the game you can find weapons, gold, mana, find health potions and increase your character by learning skills and spells while building strength and finding new weapons to fight anything that tries to attack you.

Diablo III starts 20 years following the events where Diablo II ends. The Worldstone, which Tyrael protected at the ending of Diablo II "Lord of Destruction", has been destroyed, no longer shielding the world of Sanctuary from Heaven or even Hell.

Diablo has always been based on storyline, but now there will be class-based quests which will still include even more storyline. If you are like me I have been waiting for the longest time for this game to be released. Here are some helpful Diablo secrets that will help you destroy the competition and become a master at the game.

When stating the game be sure to understand where and what all the shortcuts do. Locating and understanding where to get potions and spells or even where to get your weapons repaired or replaced is always a good way to starting a new game.

I have also learned that understanding what all spells do and how to throw them at the right time is very important to game play. Diablo III has new characters such as the "Witch Doctor" that is similar to the Necromancer which raised the undead to fight with him. The good thing is they have their own weapons, skills and magic. The other new class is the "Wizard" which uses new tricks like Disintegration and Slow Time and uses basic magic skills.

During the game you will have to defeat new characters some which are basically like the ones from Diablo II. The "Dune Thresher" is like the sand maggot but more dangerous. These creatures will pop out of the ground and attack you. The "Gnarled Walkers" are like walking trees that will follow you.

Remember when you saved "Deckard Cain" in Diablo II? Well now he has a journal that has information about what really happened in Diablo and Diablo II. The book is interactive and all you do to turn the page is click the bottom corner of the book.

I believe this is one of the greatest games that was ever made it has so much to offer such as world maps such as "New Tristam" and "Caldeum". The game also includes dungeons like the "Tristam Cathedral".

Blizzard informed me that the game must be played online. If you do not have an internet connection "You" will not be able to play the game. Unfortunately you can't play offline like you could with Diablo II.

This book will help you understand Diablo better so you don't get killed or left in the dark. One thing I like about this book is you will know how to develop yourself better so when you get in a rough situation you wont be killed as easy. I believe if you need the inside scoop on being a better Diablo player then this is the book for you.

If you truly wish to succeed at Diablo III and get your hands on the best Diablo III strats, then you must visit the worlds greatest resource. Go to this site immediately: http://www.diabloiiistrats.com/

Diablo III - Which Class to Play

Although Diablo III only features 5 classes, for many new players it's going to be a little bit tricky to choose their class. Obviously, there's a very rigorous balance between those 5 Diablo III classes, and you should have equal chances with any class and skill specialization versus any other class in the game, or in PvE.

However, depending on the part of content that you like, you should choose a certain class and spec, to be more proficient. In this article, I'm going to make a short presentation of each Diablo III class, along with their main roles.

The Barbarian

The only class in Diablo III which was also present in the previous editions of this game is the Barbarian. It is a pure melee class, and also the class that can serve best for the tank role. If you've also played World of Warcraft, then you should know that the mechanics of this class are similar to the Warrior class in this MMO. Barbarians can also be specialized to be damage dealers, dual-wielding axes, maces or swords, but this class can also be played as DPS with 2-handed weapons.

So, if you usually like melee classes, the Barbarian is the best to choose. For PvP and arena, a single-target DPS specialization would be the best. For PvE, you will surely find more groups if you specialize as a tank. However, for the usual solo grind, it's best to boost some of your AoE abilities and stuns because you will be fighting hordes of demons.

The Demon Hunter

Since there's no Amazon class in Diablo III, this is the class that replaces it. The Demon Hunter is the ranged physical damage class of of this game, which uses mainly crossbows. And the cool thing about it is that you can actually dual-wield crossbows. It's a class that deals heavy amounts of ranged, single-target damage, but of course, you can also boost some of the Demon Hunter's AoE abilities to deal better with large groups of demons.

The Demon Hunter also has quite a few traps and crowd control attacks which makes it great for PvP.

As a general idea, in conjunction with a Templar as a follower, the Demon Hunter is a great class for solo-farming items and money. For PvP, its CC attacks can severely cripple the opposite team.

The Wizard

The Wizard is the pure caster class of the game, pretty much similar to the Sorceress class in Diablo II. So, if you like to cast bolts of fire or to freeze your foes, and eliminate them from distance, the Wizard is the class for you. Wizards deal massive amounts of elemental AoE damage and also single target damage, have nice self regeneration effects for their HP and Arcane Power and if you're using only your primary abilities, you basically never remain out of juice, unless other players or mobs drain it from you.

Although the Wizard is a pretty squishy class, you receive quite enough protective spells to shield yourself from basically any type of attack coming from other players or NPCs.

The Monk

As its name suggests it, the Monk is the class that serves best as a healer and as a group buffer. So, if you want to join groups and fulfill the role of a healer, the Monk is the class for you. Although the Monk is the healer class of Diablo III, they can also be specialized to act as damage dealers having powerful melee attacks, enhanced with holy damage. Also, they have short duration crowd control attacks, like AoE knock-backs, stuns etc.

Some say that the Monk can be compared with the Paladin class in Diablo II, due to their Holy damage abilities.

So, the Monk is the number one group support class. If a group wants to defeat various difficult demons in the game, the Monk is the class they would surely want among them. However, playing the Monk solo, specialized on martial arts and melee attacks, and decently geared, you shouldn't have too much trouble dealing with any mobs or bosses.

The Witch Doctor

The Witch Doctor is the summoner class of Diablo III. They can summon various nasty creatures to defeat their foes, beginning with level 4. Also, they have quite an arsenal or curses, debuffs and ranged damage spells at their finger tips.

The Witch Doctor is also a great class for group support. They have decent crowd control abilities and can deal with large hordes of demons keeping them at bay and debuffing them, while the group takes on the bosses or elite mobs.

Although they don't have extremely good defenses like other classes, the Witch Doctors rely on their debilitating spells for PvP or PvE, reducing the damage of their foes considerably, kiting them until they eventually die from their locust swarms, clouds of acid or burning flames.

I hope what I've said here will help you a bit in choosing your Diablo III class. However, once you have chosen your class, you probably would want to learn how to play it at maximum, squeezing every bit of effectiveness from it, and knowing each and every dirty trick that can be pulled with that class.

For that, I strongly recommend: The Best Diablo III Guide.

Diablo Strategies: The Long Awaited Diablo III

Diablo has always been an exciting game to play, AS one automatically becomes immersed in the universe of angels, demons, super humans, giant spiders, world-bearing dragons, necromancy, shape shifting druids, maddened kings and warring nations. As a gamer myself I can remember times I would spend hours on end playing Diablo/Diablo II. There were times I found myself completely separated from reality. I was never particularly good at the game myself, but as a dedicated gamer I persisted, this is what led me to invest in a Diablo strategies guide which was similar to those of StarCraft One and two. It Cost me 26 dollars at the time. After the release of Diablo III I immediately picked it up. After some research online I invested in two strategy guides which cost me 65 dollars in total, some of which I have already made back with the use of the Diablo III Auction house in which you can exchange real money for your virtual goods. The guides definitely have saved me a lot of time and effort; I would say that they are crucial if You are looking to be successful with Diablo III. There are a few key remember when investing in a Diablo strategies guide.

These Diablo Strategies guides can be useful for younger gamers or less experienced players As well as more advanced gamers. The guides that are written by players themselves give much more detail on specific elements of the game. The money Spent will more than likely earn itself back with the use of the Diablo III Auction house. Just a few personal tips I'm going to start with the first step in any game (and it's the most important step!)...Don't die. Sounds simple? Well, it might look that way but many players make very crucial mistakes when playing a game for the first time.

We're going to discuss the first mistake...Expecting to destroy everything in sight. Yes... that's a big one. You see, when you get the game, it's normal to attempt to rush your new character through the game at breakneck speed... and at the beginning, it's possible but as time goes on, you may tend to get a little overconfident. Therefore, it's important to know the limitations of each character and of course, yours! Now, each class is created to usually a particular play-style, more commonly tanking barbarians and Caster wizards... that in it should determine how you play out the many different scenarios and quests you encounter on your way to max level. Because if you're not equipped to go in for close range combat and rush in like a scene from Braveheart, it's likely going to end in tears. So, you need to stop dying. Period. Because every time you get killed, your items require fixing, the statistics drop by 10% and it puts the brakes on your levelling speed. So you need to know the limits of your class and avoid dying at all costs. But how will you go about doing that? Well the first Diablo strategies guide I used will explain that question in detail and give you practical examples, as well as six other common mistakes you don't want to make.
