A New Play on Zombie Games - Battlefield UNDEAD

Ever wanted to defend your friends and family from a horde of zombies? This is your chance.

Battlefield LIVE becomes Battlefield UNDEAD when the zombies march toward Halloween.

Be a hero and save the world form Apocalypse and a horde of zombies.

Horror will be unleashed in the rainforests of the Gold Coast hinterland.

Battlefield LIVE is an exciting outdoor laser skirmish game.

It is more fun than paintball, there is no paint and no pain. Game inventors Peter and Nicole Lander have been running sessions at Thunderbird Park for 10 years and have now introduced Battlefield Undead.

Nicole says the first session booked out in 15 minutes.

It is Team "Zombies" versus Team Defenders or "Survivors".

Zombies start with 3 hit points, Survivors start with 5 hit points.

Survivors are initially armed with a rifle gun class ideally a Dragunov SVD.

Zombies have SMGs or Pistols, gun class and weapon emulation irrelevant.

"It was great. Zombies armed with infrared gaming guns upgraded with special sounds effects started their attack from the secret medical research centre," Nicole says.

Complete with awesome sound effects the new Zombie Tech enables gamers to play out as series of post apocalypse Live-Plays.

"Bold survivors confront the zombies with infrared gaming guns. Their mission is to battle through the jungle village to the police outpost for weaponry upgrades," said Nicole.

Survivors must battle their way through the zombie horde to receive the police outpost to get an amour upgrade, i.e. upgrade to 7 hit points.

This zombie game can run for up to 10 minutes which is the time the chopper will arrive to extract living, even infected players from the zone of contamination.

The game ends if all defenders have been turned into zombies.

The infrared weaponry on the battlefield is award winning and incorporates the patented Small Arms Transmitter Receiver (SATR) technology.

"While there is the thrill of playing laser skirmish in the forest, gamers also need tactics and to work together to rid Tamborine of the zombie scourge," said Nicole.

"To add to the scare-factor we encourage gamers to come in costumes." said Nicole. "When we ran our pilot Zombie Games our crew wore Lab Coast splattered with fake blood instead of their regular camo outfits."

This October all that stands between the zombies and world apocalypse is a few hundred brave souls with a couple of hours to kill and some spare cash to burn. The zombie outbreak will be limited 100 gamers for each morning and afternoon session.

Stop the zombies, enlist now.

Battlefield LIVE / Laser Skirmish runs entertaining combat missions in more than 38 countries. The Thunderbird Park battlefield is the company showcase.

Laser Skirmish has won numerous awards including the Premier of Queensland Exporter of the Year Arts and Entertainment Award.

Further details and photographs can be obtained via Nicole Lander, Marketing Commanding Officer (+1) 818 567 1601 or nicole@battlefieldsports.com

My Battlefield 3 Run In With a Girl Gamer

As of late I've noticed a growing trend. It is a trend that makes me suspicious and skeptical at the same time. I'm sitting in front of my TV, weapon selected, timer is counting down, and my way-points are clearly marked on the map. My squad leader is calmly and effectively communicating our strategy. Focused now, readying for the sprint. Then it happens; a girl's voice reverberates through the mic and into my ear. I am instantly demoralized. Our team prides itself in WINNING. There's a formula to winning. Strategy, discipline and skill. This is a war game. It may not be real war, but we treat it as such.

But today, we have a girl on our team. How did she get in? Who invited her? I stay tight lipped. I am but a junior member of this outfit and I am in no position to question the higher ups. Still, I am perplexed by her presence and even more so by the apparent normalcy with which the rest of the squad treats this clearly unacceptable situation. There must be a mistake. Maybe they can't hear her. Maybe they don't know she is here, running around guns blazing, looking like just one of the guys.

She is a Recon Soldier. She runs to a forward position and then runs back and keeps her distance. Figures.

Fighters, Helos and Tanks are running rampant but I'm no longer listening to commands and warnings. I'm fixated and watching this curious outsider, blending in, as if nobody notices. But I notice and I will expose her. I'm watching her on my HUD map and I'm about to blow the whistle and let the chips fall where they may. Then it happens.

Enemy aircraft start exploding and helicopters wildly tumble out of control. Javelin missiles strike enemy tanks in a choreographed marvel, John Woo would be proud of.

Her voice returns. This time, it's to call out instructions. They are delivered with authority and simplicity so much so that I can't help but follow them.

I see the upper right hand corner as it indicates that she, one by one, snipes the enemy soldiers in my path, one shot one kill, style. Fresh enemy tanks arrive but the laser from the SOFLAM she deployed is rapidly targeting them, and the team is dispatching them just as quickly. I'm making a run for the M-Com Station. I'm going to set the charge. To my left and my right are my brothers but they start to fall in the hail of bullets.

I'm on my own. The only protection I have is the M98B held in the purposeful hands of this outsider and I'm running. Soon, I'm too far from her lead filled deliveries that had so efficiently cleared my path. Then I see it. A radio beacon close to the M-Com. My comrades start to fall from parachutes directly above me. They provide cover and one M-Com station is now gone.

It was she that had placed the radio beacon early on, allowing reinforcements to deploy. That is why she had run forward and then retreated. She was no coward, she was a tactician. She had made the Su-35's, T-90's, and Mi28's easy targets for our Javelin wielding Engineers and she had cleared the path for my glorious, untouched RUSH to destiny.

The game went on but I could not. I sat, stared at the TV and marveled at what had happened. How could I question the skills of a fellow gamer based solely on an ignorant assumption. The term Gamer is not associated with age or gender; was what I had learned. I lost my internet connection and dropped out of the game. It was a good thing because I had realized I did not deserve to fight along side her. I haven't seen her since, but if she would let me, I would follow her into battle any day.

Battlefield 3 Strategy Guide - Why You Need A BF3 Guide

For those of us who have been playing first person shooter games for years a bit of an adjustment is required for the latest and greatest in first person shooter games, Battlefield 3. The major difference is that this game requires you to focus a lot more on teamwork than any of the other games out there. Another major difference is that you actually have to play the part of the class you select. You can't select to be medic and expect to be running headlong into enemies like you would if you were an assault soldier. You instead will have to heal your teammates and make sure they are always battle ready. This type of scenario goes for all of the classes available in BF3. This is exactly why you need a good Battlefield 3 strategy guide to show you how to play the game properly.

That is not the only thing you will learn however. You will also find out the best ways to set up your class as well as your weapon which will allow you to be as powerful as you possibly can be, this gives you a huge advantage over most of the other players out there because they do not know how to setup their character properly. You will also get a complete multiplayer walk through which shows you all of the maps and common enemy travel routes. This allows you to both go behind enemy lines undetected and shows you the best places to setup so you can mow down tons of enemies without being seen. Most BF3 strategy guides also offer a complete single player walk through which will lead you step by step through the single player game showing exactly what to do and when to do it. This allows you to complete the game on the hardest setting with very little effort and frustration.

Some guides even offer HD videos showing you some awesome techniques and tactics which will greatly improve your kill/death ratio as well as your skill level. Most importantly you will be shown team leadership tactics that are key to dominating the game. When you know how to play as a part of a team or as a team leader that is when you will start to see huge improvements in your scores as well as your skill level. Many of the best players that you see dominating the scoreboard are not good because they are lucky, they are good BF3 players because they have learned how to play the game properly by getting a decent BF3 strategy guide.

Battlefield 3 Strategies - Tips And Tricks To Improve Your Game

Battlefield 3 is one of the most complex first person shooter games to ever hit the market. You can no longer just run around head long into battle and expect to do well, you will have to play your character properly as well as learn to work as part of a team.

One of the most important features of the game is that you must play your class properly. You cannot expect to be a medic and run around racking up kills by yourself, you will have to help heal your teammates and learn to work together in order to accomplish the goals of the map. Battlefield 3 has set the standard in first person shooter games, and with it comes the requirement to actually play your class properly, or you and your teammates will die quickly. So for example. if you are an engineer, be sure you are repairing tanks and shooting enemy planes and helicopters out of the sky.

Another important aspect is the controls of the game. Some people prefer an inverted airplane style play so that when you pull down on the control stick, the view looks up, or if you push up on the control stick, the player view looks down. Be sure you try out both methods to see what best suits your style of game play. You may be surprised at your findings.

An excellent way for you to get some extra kills is to change up your game play style. For example, I found that when you come face to face with another player, instead of moving back and forth from side to side trying to avoid their gun fire, immediately drop into the prone position and aim for the head. This type of tactic works very well because most people are not used to facing an enemy who does this and gives you that extra bit of time to get your head shot in while they are confused. Ultimately this second of time will be a huge advantage for you. Try it and see for yourself.

What I would consider the most important Battlefield 3 strategy would be to get yourself a good strategy and tips guide. This will greatly improve your game as well as your experience. There are many types of guides out there, I personally prefer a guide that offers HD videos so that you can see exactly what tip or techniques is being described. There is no better way to learn than to watch someone else do exactly what they are describing on video for you to watch and imitate.

Battlefield 3 Weapons List

In this part of Battlefield 3 guide, we'll reveal all the weapons used in this game and also the stats associated with the concerned weapons. And apart from that, we'll also teach you how to use a weapon at the best of its advantage!

Battlefield 3 Weapons List

There are various categories of the weapons such as
Assault WeaponsRecon WeaponsSupport WeaponsPistolsGlobal WeaponsEngineer Weapons

There are kit-specific weapons which you can use only with that concerned class and they are unlocked by leveling up that class. Then there are Global Weapons. Once you unlock them (usually through normal level ups), they can be used with any kit.

Pistols are also unlocked with gradual level ups. They are used as a secondary weapon combined with your primary gun.

Battlefield 3 Weapons List - Assault Kit

In the alphabetical order, you'll find a list of weapons used for the Assault class. The listed Assault Rifles overall work very well but to get the maximum benefit, you must use them at short to mid-range combat.
AEK-971AK-74MAN-94F2000G3A3KH2002M16A3M416

BattleField 3 Weapons List - Engineer Class

Engineers are given the shortest-ranged weapons. They are the only ones who have submachine-guns as their primary weapons. Engineers are busy defending themselves at short-range battles because enemies try to rush in to destroy the mechanical things engineers maybe controlling or repairing.

Also note that Engineers can use Carbines as well. Carbines are just like the Assault Rifles in reality but in BF3, you get different achievements and unlocks. (For example: a Carbine Ribbon and not an Assault Ribbon).

The guns available to an Engineer are listed below in alphabetical order:
A-91AKS-74uG36CM4A1SCAR-HSG553

Battlefield 3 Weapons List - Recon Kit Weapons List

As you know, the Recon Class is the Sniping Class of BF3. Meaning that it has access to all the Sniper Rifles in the game. Below are the Rifles available to this class:
M39 EMRM40A5M98BMK11 MOD 0SKSSV98SVD

BF3 Weapons List - Support Kit

Here, you find light machine guns for the Support class. Don't go by the name though! This so-called light machine gun isn't really light. It is a very large weapon and the biggest personal weapon in the game!

A machine gun is usually an Assault Rifle or Submachine Gun as used popularly. And the term "machine gun" is a large-mounted gun. It is by far very large for anyone to carry.

Light machine guns are not that accurate and have very large clips. These guns blow away a lot of bullets and spray the enemy from a distance. During this time, your team can move up while they're pinned down.

Below is a list of the weapons used by this class.

Battlefield 3 Weapons List - Global Weapons

These are the weapons which can be used along with any kit. They are not restricted to any specific class. However, in order to get access to them, you have to level up. It includes guns and shotguns from all the classes.

Below is a list of the weapons used in the Global Category.

Battlefield 3 Weapons List - Pistols / Hand Guns

Pistols are available in mass varieties in Battlefield 3. You get access to them when you level up. Any class can get access to Pistols. If you didn't know, you usually unlock the same gun after every level up, but with different varieties.

For example: A silenced gun involves a suppressor in the original model. But you will find a laser sight in the tactical model.

Here's the list for the different types of Pistols available in Battlefield 3 in alphabetical order:
.44 Magnum.44 M-Scoped93RG17CG17C SilencedG18G18 SilencedM1911M9M9 SilencedM9 TacticalMP412 REXMP443MP443 SilencedMP443 Tactical

Battlefield 3 Weapons List Conclusion

Overall, you will get access to so many different type of weapons in Battlefield 3. If you spend even a few hours everyday, it'll take you a few weeks to master them completely. We suggest you to stick to the gun you feel is right for you till the end.

You can try all the weapons available if you want but make sure that after you have tested out all the weapons, stick with the one you love the most. This way you will become more strong once you master one weapon.

Battlefield 3 Strategies And Tactics

BF3 has changed the first person shooter world forever, you see, no longer can you run in, guns a blazin' hoping to rack up tons of kills by being aggressive and foolish at the same time. Now, you actually have to work with your team to develop strategies and tactics that effectively overcome the enemy. If you run in all willy-nilly expecting to be a one man rambo type guy, this game is most definitely not for you. You will have to think and plot out effective strategies with your teammates, because if you don't the other team is going to wipe the floor with you, and the rest of your teammates will be furious or at the very least, frustrated with you.

The first step to mastering Battlefield 3 is learning your class and building your character properly. There is no sense in being a medic if you are not going to heal your teammates. One of the recommended classes to be for a beginner is the assault class. The assault class is not as difficult to play as say recon or engineer, and it allows the beginner to get a feel for the type of game play that they enjoy without getting too complex for them. However, when you start to learn the game and the controls you are probably going to want to change your class and build it properly to be as powerful and effective as you can possibly be.

The next step is to master your weapon builds. You need to know your weapon inside and out in this game and if you don't you are going to be a sitting duck for all of the others to capitalize on and boost their kill/death ratios. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to tell you how to build your weapon as it depends on your game play style and class configuration. The best thing you can do to figure all of this out is to pick up a proven BF3 strategy guide.

A tactics guide for Battlefield 3 is your best bet if you want to understand the game completely and learn how to specifically build any class or weapons in the game. Most guides are put together by some of the top first person shooter gamers in the world, and they reveal most of their secrets to you, allowing you to become better than 90% of the other players out there. A good strategy guide will show you everything from specific map strategies to overall team leadership and tactics that will allow you an edge over everyone else allowing you and your team to rack up tons of kills and dominate Battlefield 3 like the pros do. Some guides even offer HD video demonstrations of all the tactics showing you exactly what you need to do on every level and map of the game.

Battlefield 3 Guide - 3 BF3 Strategy Guide Tips That Will Put You On Top

With the recent launch and popularity of the video game Battlefield 3, it has led a lot of us to wonder if there are any strategy guides that we can use in order to boost our kill/death ratios and become elite BF3 players. A quick search online turns up quite a few sites offering Battlefield 3 guides, most of them discuss strategies and secrets which are relatively unknown and offer jam-packed strategy guides full of tips hints and secrets for Battlefield 3. However, some of them are a waste of time and it can be hard to tell which sites are reliable, worth the time and effort, and provide quality hints, tips and secrets.

A good Battlefield 3 strategy guide will offer both known and unknown secrets and tips. Who wants to get a mastery guide that offers the same hints as all of the other guides out there. Everyone will already know these secrets making them virtually useless unless you get the guide as soon as it's launched. Fresh tips and secrets are the best weapons to have in your Battlefield 3 arsenal, and in turn will make you the envy of all the other players who are dying each time you pull the trigger.

Generally, you'll find that there are three different types of sites on the internet offering BF3 guides. Some even try to charge a price per hint/secret downloaded! That is quite laughable, and to put it quite frankly a waste. Some other sites offer you guides that at the time of their release were pretty good, however, the information becomes quickly outdated as everyone figures out the secrets leaving you back at square one. The third type of Battlefield 3 guide is the one that is constantly being updated, you will always have the latest and greatest secrets, cheats, hints and tips as they become available. This is the type of guide you should be looking for, obviously. If you have the latest cheats and secrets, then you will be at the top of the scoreboard after every round.

These guides will work on any console gaming system such as PS3, or Xbox 360 as well as the PC. The game is the same on all systems so there are no specific guides out there for your specific system. As I said above though, be sure you get a strategy guide that is recommended by a reliable source, or you will probably just be wasting time and money, with absolutely nothing to show for it. You still won't be at the top of the scoreboard, and you will be wondering why. The reason is simple, get a guide that is constantly updated and is recommended by the top BF3 players.

I have reviewed almost every guide there is for Battlefield 3, and I am consistently at the top of the scoreboard. I get messages constantly asking me if I am using some sort of aimbot or hack, and I laugh to myself every time people ask me. I don't have any hacks or aimbots or whatever, I just have access to the best strategy guides out there.

BF3 Tips - 3 Important Battlefield 3 Tips To Improve Your Game

If you are like many of the other people that have just started playing Battlefield 3 online, you are probably getting somewhat frustrated sometimes because you just can't seem to rack up many kills or keep getting killed yourself. Well there is good news and bad news for you. The bad news is that you are not very good at the game, which you probably already know. The good news is that you can dramatically increase your skill level by using some of the latest tips and secrets that have been figured out by the pros and passed down to beginners such as yourself. Here are three of my best tips for learning and winning Battlefield 3 matches.

Tip #1 - Teamwork is very important:

Battlefield 3 is unlike any other first person shooter game out there. You can't just run out there and "pray and spray" the enemies hoping to get some kill points and rise up through the ranks. You really must focus on teamwork with this game as it is one of if not the most important factor in the game. You have to be able to play the class you have selected, you can't be a medic and just run around not helping to heal people, this is a crucial role and you must play it exactly as if you were in a real war. The same goes for all of the other classes. Whichever class you decide to be will change your in game experience to a larger degree than most other first person shooter games on the market.

Tip #2 - Learn the classes:

I usually recommend beginners stick with the assault / medic class mainly because this class is well rounded and easier to understand. Some of the more difficult classes to play are the recon and engineer classes. These classes take much more experience to use and understand. If you are not familiar with the maps and levels, you will not get much use from these classes. So as a beginner, pick the assault class so that you can get used to the game play and learn the maps. This will allow you to rack up some kills and you will enjoy the game a lot more.

Tip #3 - Get a decent BF3 strategy guide:

I cannot say this enough. By getting yourself a good strategy guide, you will learn all of the tactics and techniques the pros use to dominate. You can quite easily become this good by knowing the proper strategies and class / weapon builds that the pros use to wipe out everyone in their path. A decent guide should contain a guide to all of the classes and how to properly build your class to be as powerful and effective as possible. It should also contain map strategies for each individual map and level in the game showing you exactly where the best places are to set up. Another thing you should look for is a guide that will show you the best strategies for dominating your enemy as well as how to become a leader. When you become a leader, your teammates depend on you to tell them where to go and what to expect, so a guide that teaches you leadership skills is a must for any serious Battlefield 3 player.
