Arms Warrior Leveling Guide and Talent Leveling Spec

Arms Warrior Leveling Build

The Warrior class are a very versatile class with any of the three talent trees and hybrid builds making for a decent leveling build. The Protection leveling build would make for a good Tank warrior whereas the Arms build is more tailored for damage dealing Warriors.

Many seem to opt for the Protection build and play out the game as a Protection Warrior but for leveling scenarios this isn't always the best choice!

In this article we'll take a look at an Arms Warrior Leveling Build that is a slight Arms/ Fury hybrid build. The talents from the Arms tree that can be left out of this build are: Field Dressing, Second Wind, Improved Hamstring and Drums of War.

To start the Arms Warrior leveling build you're going to want to get the Warriors damage up as quickly as possible and the best available ability here is the War Academy ability. This is a great ability to start with and worth assigning all 3 available talent slots here.

Next I would take Blitz and then skip Field Dressing, Field Dressing wont provide much if any use for leveling so wont be required for this particular build. In the next tier you'll want to take tactical mastery and Deep Wounds and skip the Drums of War and Second Wind abilities.

The next tier has some nice abilities and you'll definitely want to take Taste for Blood, Sweeping Strikes and Impale and assign all available talent slots to these 3 talents before proceeding further down the talent tree.

The rest of the Arms build is straight forward. You'd simply move down the talent tree and collect all the available talents and assign all talent points. Once you've completed the Arms build you'll want to switch to the Fury tree and take the following talents: Blood Craze - 3/3 talents, Battle Trance 2/3 Talents, Cruelty 2/2 talents, Executioner 2/2 talents and Piercing Howl 1/1 talent points.

With the Arms Warrior leveling guide and leveling spec, you'll find leveling the Warrior class a little easier than usual especially in later levels of the game. The Protection tree offers a decent leveling build with less of a hybrid build and a nice choice for those looking to build a Tank Warrior. The nice thing about the Arms build though is it s a nice build for both solo leveling and dungeon leveling which require groups to complete.

For PvP (player vs player) scenarios and build I would explore the Fury talent tree as it will offer a better build for fighting although will slow up leveling if a full Fury build is applied.

WoW Warrior Guide - Weapons Of Mass Destruction

WoW Warrior Guide Overview

The Warrior class make for a superb melee class with their ability to inflict damage on your opponents in close range attacks. In my opinion the Warrior class are one of the best if not the best class for Tanking. With their ability to inflict heavy damage Warriors also make for great builds for both PvE and PvP scenarios.

The Warrior truly is the master of weaponry and melee fighting with their ability to equip any Melee weapons as well as Dual Wield. Their well padded as well with the ability to wear cloth, leather, mail, plate and equip their-selves with shields.

A Warriors special abilities will be used with the aide of Rage which regenerates when the Warrior both takes damage and deals out some damage.

Warriors are quite unique in their role in that they can take different stances. These stances are broken down into three categories and all serve different purposes for different scenarios.

It's worth noting that certain abilities can only be used when the Warrior is in a certain stance.

As well as deal out some serious damage, the Warrior class are strong and can take a beating too! This makes them a good class for leveling purposes as they can give and take damage well. When using Warriors for leveling purposes you should always carry a shield with you so you can tank almost instantly when the chance presents itself.

I personally found with my Warrior build that after about level 70+ the Protection build was best for tanking instances though. Personal preference really. Warriors have always been fast levelers though because they can pretty much wipe out mobs in a flash and then move onto the next lot. The Warriors plate armor makes them great for battles too and a heap of fun to play.

WoW Warrior Guide - Talent Trees

The Arms tree was considered one of the weakest builds for the Warrior by many warrior class enthusiasts until the Cataclysm expansion. Again it boils down to personal preference but the general consensus was that the Fury talent tree offered better talents which made the Fury tree slightly better than the Arms tree for both PvE and PvE scenarios.

The Arms tree was appealing as the Mortal Strikes debuff left on a character that reduced healing done on the target by 50%. However the Fury Warriors have a similar talent in the Fury talent tree called Furious Attacks which grants the character the same debuff which will reduce healing done on targets by 50%.

The Fury build also offers the ability to Dual Wield 2 two-handed weapons, this remains the only class capable of doing this!

Not only does wielding 2 two handed weapons look awesome, but it will also give a nice little boost to the Warriors damage output. Then there is Heroic Fury, another PvP talent that removes immobilizing effects and removes the cooldown from your intercept.

Finally the Protection talent tree is best suited for tank warriors. There are a lot of abilities to acquired in the Protection tree that will reduce the damage taken by the Warrior. The Protection tree is also good for increasing the Warriors threat which is also good for tanking and for leveling a Warrior in some instances.

There are some pretty nifty spells to be gained from the Protection tree as well such as; Spell Reflection, Shield Slam, Shock Wave and Last Stand which are all great abilities. All in all the Protection tree is definitely suited for the Tank Warrior.

Warrior Leveling Guide and Leveling Build

Warrior Leveling Guide & Talent Leveling Build

With every new patch that's released, leveling the warrior class has become ever more easier. The rate at which you level your warrior will depend on which talent tree you emphasize.

Quite a few players seem to really enjoy tanking and quite happily play the game leveling up their warrior as a protection warrior. However this isn't the best choice for leveling at all.

Revenge and Shield Slam inflict a fair amount of damage and shock wave is also handy for later levels in the game. The real secret for speeding up your leveling when playing the Warrior class though is to explore the Protection talent tree.

The following is a variation for a recommended build for leveling the warrior:

Warrior Leveling Guide - Arms Talent Leveling Build

Although I feel the Protection tree offers the best spec for leveling purposes the Arms tree is still a good choice and is a great spec for Leveling, Dungeons and PvP scenarios.

If you're planning on an Arms talent leveling build then you're definitely going to want to take War Academy in the arms tree as this will increase the damage output of Mortal Strike, Raging Blow, Devastate, Victory Rush & Slam. Tactical Mastery is another important talent for leveling as this is going to enable you to retain up to an additional 50 Rage when you change stances.

You'll also want to consider Taste for Blood, Improved Slam, Lambs to the Slaughter and Bloodstorm. There are many good abilities to be unlocked in the Arms tree for leveling purposes but it's wise to snatch a few of the abilities on offer in the Fury tree as well.

Blood Craze is a must here and I would advise a full 3/3 talent build. Cruelty is just another great talent for leveling that's going to increase the critical strike chance of Bloodthirst, Mortal Strike and Shield Slam by 10%

I also like Piercing Howl and opted for that ability too in this particular build.

Warrior Leveling Guide - Protection Talent Leveling Build

The Protection talent leveling build has proven to be very effective for leveling Warriors fast. There are a ton of cool abilities within the Protection tree that are going to increase your single target damage, AoE (area of effect) damage and improve survivability making it a great spec for a Warrior leveling build.

You're going to want to take Incite without question and upgrade 3/3. This will increase the critical strike chance of Heroic Strike by 15%, and gives your Heroic Strike critical a 100% chance to cause the next Heroic Strike to also be a critical strike.

Devastate is just another must have talent that's going to strengthen your Warrior hugely. If equipping the prime glyth "Revenge", it's a must to take Improved Revenge from the Protection tree as well.

As with the Arms Warrior talent build, it's important to combine the build with the Fury talent tree. Again Blood Craze and Cruelty are just two must have talents for leveling and I would definitely take these from the Fury talent tree.
