Three Reasons Why You Should Play Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead Redemption has been a huge success, and is another superb title from Rockstar Games (the creator of the Grand Theft Auto series). For those gamers who have not yet played the game, here are three quick reasons why you should, and you will see why you are missing out.

1. Open World Gameplay - Over the years, Rockstar Games has mastered the concept of the open world environment with video games. Not only does the game follow a main storyline, but the player can choose whether or not to do certain missions at their own discretion. In Red Dead Redemption, there are plenty of side missions and challenges to keep a player busy for hours without ever touching the main storyline. Of course, you must progress through the main story in order to unlock certain areas of the map and certain items, but if you feel like hunting, causing a ruckus, or just hopping on your horse and galloping off into the sunset, it is entirely up to you.

2. Immersive Environment - Red Dead Redemption is not only great fun, but it is also a beauty to look at. The art department deserves a great amount of credit in creating an environment that looks and feels genuine. Although the main locations for the game are in the Old West with sagebrush and cacti, there is something breathtaking about it all. There is also a seamless conversion from grassy plains in America to red rock formations in Mexico. No matter where you are on the map, it feels as if you are actually there.

3. Fantastic Storyline - The story of Red Dead Redemption is one of the best storylines I have ever experienced in a video game. It also has one of the most shocking and unanticipated climaxes that I have ever seen. It is a story that sucks you in, and you find yourself becoming emotional involved in the plight of the main character, John Marston. This makes the ending of the game all the more shocking. Even the side missions you find scattered around are entertaining in their own right (although not necessarily pertinent to the main story).

There are many other reasons to play Red Dead Redemption if you have not done so. It is a wonderful example of a top-notch video game, and hopefully there are or will be plans to release a sequel.

Top 10 Reasons To Rent Video Games Online

Renting video games online is gaining some serious popularity with hardcore and casual gamers alike. Whether you are just hearing about this industry for the first time or have been on the fence about joining here are 10 great reasons to start renting video games online.

10 - It's Easy. Digging through shelves at the local department store for games can be a nightmare. Especially when you are looking for a very specific title that you are not even sure they have in stock. When you rent online, a few mouse clicks are all you need to gain access to the titles you want.

9 - It's Fun. Braving crowds, traffic, and long lines to grab the latest video game isn't something gamers look forward too. When you rent online, you can rent all the games you want from the comfort of your own home.

8 - It's Organized. The game rental queue, personal rating system, peer reviews, and critic reviews are just some of the amazing tools to keep your gaming life organized. Renting games online lets you easily find and manage the games you want to play.

7 - No Buyer's Remorse. Unfortunately not all video games are winners. No one likes to spend top dollar for a game just to play it for 15 minutes and realize it stinks. What do you do then? Stick it on a shelf forever or return it to the store for a hardly any store credit? With renting games online, if you don't love the game, it can be zooming back to the warehouse within hours.

6 - Unlimited Information. Not sure what new games you want to play? No more guessing at the store, or reading random cases to find out if you will like it. Renting online gives you thousands of peer reviews, critic reviews, game-play videos, cinematic trailers, and screen shots all at your finger tips.

5 - Game Selection. With renting video games online, you have access to over 8,000 titles across 13 platforms, far more than any local store could carry. From hard-to-find classics to all the hot new releases, they will have everything you want.

4 - No Restrictions. When you rent games online there are no due dates and no restrictions. Play the games as long as you like with no late fees. You have the freedom to rent what you want when you want for as long as you want.

3 - Endless Inventory. Have you ever gone out to the store to purchase that hot new game just to find they are all sold out? Or find out that you have to stand in line at midnight just to get a copy? Renting games online gives you access to all the hot new releases, guaranteed.

2 - Save Money. This is were the choice gets obvious. It's not unusual for gamers to spend several hundred even thousands on games each year. How many of those games just sit on a shelf now collecting dust? Renting video games online gives you a wider selection, better access and outstanding features at a fraction of the price.

1 - Try Before You Buy. So you rented a game, and you LOVE it, it's got replay value, it's a keeper. No problem. Just log into your account online and select you want to purchase the game for a low used price. They send you out the case, the manual, and anything else along with your next game rental.

WoW Dungeon Leveling - 3 Reasons Why Dungeons Beat Quests!

Wow Dungeon Leveling Guide

There are various different strategies and methods for power leveling in World of Warcraft. It use to be that completing quests efficiently as possible was the best method for leveling fast. However since the inclusion of the Dungeon Finder Tool with the Wrath of the Lich King extension, Dungeon leveling is without doubt the most effective method for power leveling.

The XP that's gained from Dungeon quests is roughly twice that of solo quests making Dungeons the fastest way to level in WoW.

Dungeon Leveling = More XP Earned per Hour!

One distinct advantage of Dungeon Leveling is that there's no huge distances to cover between zones when traveling between quests as there is with solo quests. Since the inclusion of the Dungeon Finder Tool, finding dungeons and groups got a whole lot easier and the Dungeon Finder Tool will literally guide you right to the Dungeon, no matter what zone you're currently playing in!

Some of the classes that have weak armor such as cloth will also benefit greatly from Dungeons as they will spend less time resurrecting after defeat as Dungeon quests operate in groups and will have some heavy hitters in there to take the brunt of the attacks.

Healing classes also benefit greatly from Dungeons compared to solo quests as it is a lot easier to level their Healing spec instead of DPS. Dungeons allow for Healing classes to level up solely as a Healing class, which will allow for much more time to hone and master their Healing abilities for Healing large groups.

Dungeon Leveling = More Fun & Social Interaction!

It goes without saying that World of Warcraft is hugely addictive:) However, when you throw Dungeons into the mix, things really get interesting. Leveling in Dungeons as opposed to solo quests will give players the chance to experience some of the older dungeons that tally with the Classic WoW and the Burning Crusade, which can often be overlooked and well worth exploring for another added extra to the game.

This not only brings new challenges for some of the more experienced players who have progressed through much of the game but is also a great way for introducing some of the newer players. Not only that but solo questing means your playing alone a majority of the time whereas Dungeons require group efforts and bring a new dimension to the game that's both fun and sociable and a great way to interact with other WoW enthusiasts and build alliances.

Dungeon Leveling = More Gold!

World of Warcrafts own currency... GOLD. As rewarding as Dungeons are for both fun and XP as well as some cool rewards, that wouldn't be enough to solely rely on dungeons for leveling without the accumulation of gold and lots of it!

Dungeon leveling will open up new avenues for making gold in the form of auction house! One of the easiest methods for acquiring gold in Dungeons is to "disenchant" any of the items you get in dungeons that are of no use to your character.

Note: The "disenchant" feature will only be made available to players who have an "enchanter" working with you in your group.

Certain players who have chosen to acquire the enchanting profession possess the ability to disenchant magical items. Not only that but when an enchanter is present in a group this ability is made available for all players that are active within that group.

If you perform a group task and a group member unlocks a loot that is unique, magical, or rare then each group member will be asked what they want to do with the looted item. If the item is of use to your character then simply select "need" and the item will be added to your collection.

If however an enchanter is present within your group then there will also be a "disenchant" option available. If the particular item is of no use to your character then you will want to select the disenchant option. Once this step has been completed you can then sell the disenchant items on at the auction house and rake in some precious gold!

If you have yet to try dungeon leveling, then you really do owe it to yourself to give it a shot. You'll be amazed at how quickly you'll start power leveling your way through the game!
