Solo Questing Tips For Power Leveling In World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft Solo Questing Leveling Guide

If you're ready to give World of Warcraft a try, getting through the first few levels is actually pretty easy. You'll need to pay attention though to the environment around you and closely follow orders from quest givers and on screen pop-ups, since you'll be learning quite a few new skills that you'll need to remember as you progress through the game.

As you begin to slowly progress through the game you'll soon realize that leveling up in WoW is the central focus alongside strengthening your character. Leveling in WoW is done by gaining XP (experience) and the primary reason you'll embark on thousands of quests is to gain more and more XP to level and gain better items and abilities for your character.

Today's leveling guide focuses on solo questing and techniques for ensuring you complete each quest efficiently, which is the strategy deployed by the majority of players. Solo questing is an integral part of the game anyway and you'll literally embark on thousands of quests throughout the game!

Although the land of Azeroth is indeed a beautiful place with awesome scenery, it can also prove to be a distraction to the wandering mind! When locating, completing and returning quests it's wise to stay organized and have a system to follow, also being prepared so you can minimize downtime.

Tips for Solo Leveling

Know The Objective Of The Quest - One of the biggest mistakes people make is accepting a quest and then wandering around aimlessly. Once you accept a quest check the map for location and check the purpose of the quest so your prepared.

Coordinated Planning - If you have several quests in your queue (which you should have) then it makes sense to plan the quests accordingly so your creating the shortest possible distances between each quest (huge time saver!). Cross referencing your map and tracking certain quests will ensure you stay on track and don't dilly dally in-between quests.

Limiting Quests - Being more specific about the quests you participate in will undoubtedly help you level as some quests will not offer that much benefit and will require you to travel a long distance which can be a problem especially if you haven't earned your first mount yet.

Avoid Enemy Contact - During quests and more importantly when roaming Azeroth traveling between quests try to avoid confrontations with mobs or any enemies that don't offer much XPor rewards, this saves a huge amount of time. The Rogue class are particularly useful for this purpose as they have the Stealth ability.

Selective Killing - It goes without saying that not all enemies will yield the same amount of XP. It's therefore wise to kill the mobs that are equal to your level or perhaps a couple of levels lower.

Also the longer you're active in the game per given session you're awarded less and less XP from your kills, so make sure to use your fresh kills in each session to kill mobs that will yield the highest amount of XP.

Shortcut Keys - This one can take a little getting used to but assigning shortcut keys to your keyboard can be a huge time saver, this will also aide you in becoming more skilled overall as a player and for PvP scenarios.

Although not the most advanced wow leveling guide, the tips noted above are a sure fire way to ensure smooth gameplay when playing solo and can save a huge amount of time.
